Considered by many to be a sign of spring, the American robin is one of three North American robins.  As members of the thrush family, their young have spotted breasts.  The American robin was named after the European robin by early settlers, however the two species are unrelated.  The American robin is a true early bird--it is among the first to sing each morning and among the first to lay eggs each spring.  Be among the first in your neighborhood to take home one of our gorgeous robin suncatchers.
