There are approximately 80 species of wrens, 9 of which are found in North America.  Wrens are known for their loud and complex songs.  They have long, slender bills and their barred tails are usually tipped 'upward' from their backs.  The unique physical characteristics of the wren makes it an exciting subject for our wren suncatchers.
