Inspection of Products Upon Receipt

You must examine the products when you receive them. If any item is damaged or missing, you must notify Cockatoo Creations at once. We will notify the shipper who may choose to investigate the loss or damage, so please retain all packing materials for 30 days. Our company will not consider any claim for damaged or missing items more than ten (10) business days from the shipping date.

If you need to report loss or damage, simply login to your account, view the order using the "Complete Orders" link under the My Account menu and click the Return Item(s) button. We'll notify you via e-mail of any replacements or refunds. In most cases, a good photograph that clearly shows the damage will be sufficient to start your claim. Damaged items will be replaced with the same item.


Returns Policy

We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase! In the unlikely event that you are not, we will cheerfully accept your return. Returned items must be unused, in original condition, and contained in the original packaging. Upon receipt of your item, we will refund the purchase price for that item. There is a 20% restocking fee with a minimum fee of $5/item. Shipping costs are, of course, non-refundable.

Purple Dot

Purple Dot Items - These items should be returned to our Main Warehouse.

Cyan DotCyan Dot Items - We regret to advise you that these items cannot be returned for biosecurity reasons.

Gold DotGold Dot Items- These items require a pre-authorization prior to return.

Forest DotForest Dot Items- These items require a pre-authorization prior to return.

Green DotGreen Dot Items - These items require a pre-authorization prior to return.

Pink DotPink Dot Items- These items require a pre-authorization prior to return.

Red DotRed Dot Items - Custom items cannot be returned. Other red dot items should be returned to our Main Warehouse.

Yellow DotYellow Dot Items - These items require a pre-authorization prior to return.


You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of shipping your item back to Cockatoo Creations, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).

If you need to return an item, simply login to your account, view the order using the "Complete Orders" link under the My Account menu and click the Return Item(s) button. We'll notify you via e-mail of your refund once we've received and processed the returned item.
