This gorgeous Indian Ring Neck parakeet picture was hand-created from 100% silk. This beautiful work of art was made with the oldest embroidery technique in the world, Su Shiu. The family that made this stunning Indian ring neck parakeet has been embroidering these for over 380 years, passing down the technique from generation to generation. Silk, when dyed using traditional methods such as those used for this bird, can retain its vibrant color for thousands of years--please keep from direct sunlight and water to preserve the beauty of your new picture.
The art is 7-1/2" square matted to approximately 11-3/4" square. The actual matting may vary from what you see in the photo, please contact us if you desire a specific mat that you've seen photographed with any of our embroidered birds.
