Large Cloisonne Hummingbird Ornament - Red

This beautiful large hummingbird with red and turquoise accents was created using the technique of Cloisonne enameling. The hummingbird forms a copper base to which small wires were attached, forming cells. These cells were then filled with beautifully colored enamels and fired at a high temperature to create an exquisite ornament that will be cherished for generations.
